Sunshine and a Bare Face

Hi lovelies! Hope you’re all doing well. Did you get to enjoy the nice weather we had this weekend? Or if you’re not from the Bay Area, what was was the weather like there? Anyway, as some of you may have noticed, I didn’t put up a blog last week. I wanted to clear the air with you about that. I just needed a break. There were a lot of things going on in my mind and I couldn’t put myself to be in a happy mood and post something. I didn’t want to fake it either…I hope you guys can understand. Although, it still felt really weird – going a whole week without blogging. I’ve been regularly posting (once a week) for over a year now (I think), and so it definitely didn’t feel good to not post last week, but I needed to put my mental health first.

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy these photos from Sunday. We didn’t do anything too eventful, but because the weather was so nice, I wanted to at least leave the house to get some outfit shots for this weeks post, and to get some brunch. I decided to go with a bare face that day *gasp*. My skin has taken quite a turn the last month (for the better). It’s FAR from perfect, I still have small blemishes here and there, and some scarring, but because it has been OK, I wanted to take advantage of that and let my skin breathe on days that I can (updated skincare routine soon?). And again, I’m wearing my boyfriend jeans *surprise, surprise* – I promise I have other pants – I just love them for Spring! For brunch, we decided to go to Judahlicious, in San Francisco. I’ve been there a few times myself, this was our second time there together. It’s such a lovely place if you like Vegan and/or raw food, and even if you don’t! It’s so unique, delicious, and full of “SF vibes”.  They have the most delicious acai bowls (you can get it without the waffle if you like, and with lots of other toppings)! Whether you’re craving sweet or savory, they have lots of options. I’ve only had their acai bowls/waffles, and the 1/2 Nekked burrito (so good). I also find that I don’t feel super full or sluggish after (like some food places make you feel), which is a huge plus in my book. If you’re ever around San Francisco, I would highly recommend this place, vegan or not.img_0401

I wanted to get your opinion on something – I added a header to today’s post (viewed on direct page only), let me know what you guys think! I may not do that for every post but if you guys like it, I’ll try to do that more often. 🙂

  1. You shouldn’t apologize girl, I think blog breaks are very necessary for your own sanity! Anyways that restaurant looks so delicious and you’re so lucky to be living in California where it’s heaven for plant-based, vegans, etc out there to enjoy! I really need to make my way there since I’ve only been there once and I was like 8 years old LOL. I love your casual outfit as well! I think I’ll snatch some inspo from you :]
